What is CDM Services?
CDM Services was founded in 1978 as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization by three community volunteers ("C"ahoon, "D"eckard, "M"urray) in response to a need for safe, well-trained caregivers for the elderly and disabled in Southwest Washington. Today, in addition to being the area's largest in-home care agency, CDM Services provides Adult Day Services, including for those with dementia, traumatic brain injury, and other brain conditions; the Home Care Referral Registry for Southwest Washington; the Community Partnership Inititiative, a philanthropic program which attempts to meet those long-term care needs of individuals and families which cannot be met through tax-funded programs; and Creative Connections, a new program exploring the therapuetic benefits of the arts for those with dementia. CDM Services is the leading provider of long-term care services in Southwest Washington.
