Chrismas '08: A new hospital bed!
The Community Partnership Initiative, or "CPI", is a program developed as a result of decades of seeing needs in our clients that could not be funded by traditional tax-funded services. Often a small object, services, or financial assist could make the difference between remaining at home or being institutionalized, but there was no programs available to help local families with these needs.
In 2006, the M.J. Murdock Foundation granted CDM Services $146,000 to launch this program. Since then, local individuals and families have received everything from medical equipment and help with prescription drugs to home modifications including wheelchair ramps, service scholarships for in-home care and adult day services, and volunteer events which drastically improved their quality of life.
The CPI seeks to find local businesses, other non-profits, service clubs, church groups, and individual volunteers to meet the individual needs of the elderly and disabled. CDM Services also maximizes strategic sponsorhips and donations to meet solve complex care issues.
